Michelle has over 30 years’ experience in the science/medicine and bio-pharmaceutical industries. She has been employed by Stanford University where she was a veterinary technician for the Department of Comparative Medicine, and Syntex, Roche and Theravance where she worked in the toxicology and/or pharmacology departments. Approximately 5 years ago Michelle began consulting in non-clinical operations after leaving her 15 year career at Theravance.
Michelle completed her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at Menlo College, Menlo Park, CA. She subsequently completed the Veterinary Technology program at Foothill College and was a Certified Animal Health Technician in the state of California for 18 years.
Early in her career Michelle was instrumental in performing specialized surgical techniques for development of non-clinical (pharmacology and toxicology) study models while later she was responsible for overseeing the non-clinical operations for a multitude of programs resulting in several INDs and corporate collaborations.
